Len Vickery Soccer Award

The Len Vickery Soccer Award is presented to students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree who are members of the Golden Bears Soccer program at the University of Alberta. This award recognizes student-athletes who demonstrate excellence in soccer and show potential to develop as significant contributors to the Golden Bears Soccer program. Selection is based on the level of excellence shown in the sport, the potential to develop as a significant contributor to the Golden Bears Soccer program, contributions made to the soccer team on and off the field of play, and academic standing. The award is endowed by the friends and colleagues of Len Vickery in commemoration of his 30th anniversary as a coach for the Golden Bears Soccer Program.
