Lendlease Women in Civil Engineering Scholarship

The Lendlease Women in Civil Engineering Scholarship was established in 2024 and is maintained by an annual gift from Lendlease. This scholarship supports women studying civil engineering at the University of Queensland by providing financial assistance to encourage diversity in the engineering profession. The scholarship is valued at $15,000 for one year and is awarded to one eligible student annually. Applicants must be domestic students enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)/Master of Engineering, or a dual engineering program, specifically in a civil engineering discipline. Eligible students must have completed between 28-40 units and cannot hold another similar scholarship. The selection process considers academic achievement, personal and leadership qualities, and other factors relevant to future success in the engineering profession. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview.
