Leon Hughes Memorial Scholarship

The Leon Hughes Memorial Scholarship supports students currently enrolled at or entering Tarrant County College who intend to pursue an associate degree or certificate of completion. The scholarship requires a minimum GPA of 2.5 and enrollment in at least 9 credit hours (or full-time enrollment as defined by the recipient's program) for the period of award. Preference is given to students who graduated from Dunbar High School in the spring of the award year. Recipients must meet federal guidelines for financial need. The scholarship is renewable for the spring semester if the recipient maintains a minimum GPA of 2.5 and completes a minimum of 9 credit hours (or full-time enrollment as defined by the recipient's program).
