Leona Stanford Volintine Charitable Trust Fund

The Leona Stanford Volintine Charitable Trust Fund supports full-time students at Eastern Illinois University who are pursuing programs of study that will lead to careers promoting and assisting the general public welfare. Eligible fields of study include but are not limited to education, criminal justice, health care, business administration, engineering, and various areas of science such as chemistry and physics. Financial need is a primary consideration for this award. Recipients must maintain an overall 3.00 GPA and have been a citizen of the United States of America for a minimum of five years. Students who qualified in the previous year are given preference for the following year, provided they remain eligible and reapply. This award is typically announced in the Spring and disbursed in the Fall and Spring semesters.
