Leonard Condell Farming Research Scholarship

The Leonard Condell Farming Research Scholarship is awarded to support someone who wants to or is undertaking research in the field of agriculture at postgraduate or PhD level. These scholarships are awarded by the Leonard Condell Farming Scholarship Trust, established under the terms of the will of Leonard Condell, a Pukekohe farmer who died in 1974. The scholarship provides up to $4,000 NZD for one year to support agricultural research that will benefit some branch of agriculture in New Zealand. Recipients are selected based on academic achievements, good character, financial need, and how their research topic meets the intentions of the scholarship in benefiting New Zealand agriculture.
