Leonard E Gads Memorial Scholarship

The Leonard E Gads Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually on behalf of the Civil Engineering Class of 1955, to a third year Civil Engineering student with superior academic achievement entering the fourth year. The scholarship is endowed by the Civil Engineering Class of 1955 from the University of Alberta in memory of Dr Leonard E Gads, former Associate Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. Recipients are selected based on academic standing, extra-curricular activities, and indicated financial need. Students are automatically considered based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship system.
