Leonard Swanson Leadership Award in Engineering

The Leonard Swanson Leadership Award in Engineering is awarded to student(s) with satisfactory academic standing entering the second, third, or fourth year of study of an undergraduate degree program in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta. The award recognizes students who make outstanding contributions to the University and/or greater community through active involvement and demonstrated leadership. Selection is based on contributions to the community through areas such as community service, student government or projects, volunteering and mentoring activities, as well as academic standing. This endowed award honors Leonard Swanson's longstanding commitment to students in the University of Alberta Faculty of Engineering.
