About this opportunity
The Leone Crawford Travel Grant is a scholarship established to assist recipients to pursue overseas archaeological research in the geographical areas in which the Near Eastern Archaeology Foundation (NEAF) from time to time conducts research. The scholarship provides financial support for honors students, higher degree students, or post-doctoral early career researchers who are part of an Australian or New Zealand University. Recipients must be pursuing overseas archaeological site research and applying for funding for a specific research project with expenses that can be planned for prior to spending. Preference is given to applicants experiencing financial disadvantage. The scholarship was donated by Leone Crawford and is valued at $5,000, paid as a lump sum payment upon receipt of the Scholarship Acceptance Form.
