Les and Mary Hall Family Scholarship in Engineering

The Les and Mary Hall Family Scholarship in Engineering was established in 2009 by the Hall family in honour of Les and Mary Hall, founders of the business which now has its third generation operating as Hall Contracting Ltd. The scholarship supports full-time students commencing the Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) (Honours) program at the University of the Sunshine Coast. The scholarship is paid in instalments each year over the 4-year Civil Engineering program, with A$1,500 provided in first and second year, and A$1,000 in third and fourth year. Scholarship payments are made approximately three weeks after the Census Date of the relevant Study Period, once enrolment has been confirmed. This scholarship is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor. If funding is not available in any given year, the scholarship will not be awarded. Selection is based on academic merit and financial need.
