About this opportunity

The LET'S Live Well – Healthy Hearts program provides grants of up to £3,500 for voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) organizations in Bury to tackle the causes of heart disease and improve the lives of residents. This funding focuses on four key strands: supporting opportunities for healthy eating, increasing physical activity, helping people stop smoking, and supporting people to seek advice or treatment for heart-related health issues. The program targets two specific neighborhoods in Bury (East Bury and Bury West) that have the highest rates of heart disease and hospital admissions linked to heart conditions. Priority is given to projects working with individuals over 50 years old, communities experiencing racial and ethnic inequalities, and individuals with existing long-term and limiting health conditions. With a total funding pot of just over £16,000, the program anticipates funding around 4-5 projects that will run between March 2026 and February 2027.
