Lægeforeningens Forskningsfond

Lægeforeningens Forskningsfond is a research fund for researchers within the medical science field in Denmark. The fund supports research in specific disease areas including Parkinson's disease and related disorders, cancer, kidney diseases, diabetes, Menière's disease, and heart diseases. Various legacy grants are distributed through the fund, including Wacherhausens legat, Johs. M. Klein og hustrus legat, and Højmosegård legatet. There is also a separate fund for research into hereditary mental illnesses. Priority is given to younger researchers and clinical research. The fund does not support salary and transport for test subjects, PhD fees, travel and conference expenses, study stays, or publications.
