About this opportunity
The Li Ka Shing Foundation Lord Sandberg Memorial Scholarship has been established by the Li Ka Shing Foundation, in memory of Lord Michael Sandberg of Passfield, OBE, CBE, who passed away in 2017 and was considered a true friend of Hong Kong. King's College London is pleased to offer these scholarships worth £15,000 each to two students annually from Hong Kong. The scholarship has been set up to support permanent Hong Kong residents planning to study a full-time three year undergraduate course at King's. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of the applicant's academic record and financial need, the latter of which will be determined by a personal statement. Students from any Hong Kong schools are welcome to apply, but preference will be given to students from a local school. Two scholarships are available and the total value of the award per recipient is £15,000 (£5,000 per year for three years) to support tuition fees.
