Li Ka Shing Institute of Virology Summer Studentship

The Li Ka Shing Institute of Virology Summer Studentship supports undergraduate or MD students working on virology-related research under the supervision of a Li Ka Shing Institute of Virology member researcher. This summer studentship provides funding for students to engage in hands-on research experiences in the field of virology at the University of Alberta. To be considered for this award, students must complete the URI Undergraduate Research Common Application through the University of Alberta's URI funding program. This opportunity is designed to foster research skills and knowledge in virology among undergraduate and medical students through mentored research projects.
