Life Sciences Departmental Studentships 2024/25

The Life Sciences Departmental Studentships provide funding for doctoral research students in the Department of Life Sciences at Imperial College London. These studentships are designed to support outstanding students pursuing PhD degrees in biological or related sciences. The awards cover full tuition fees at the Home rate and provide a stipend at the UKRI (UK Research and Innovation) rate, enabling students to focus on their research without financial burden. Five studentships are available for the 2025/2026 academic year. Candidates are expected to hold a BSc in biological sciences or related fields at Upper Second Class level or better, with preference given to those who also hold a master's degree.
