About This Opportunity

The Lifemark Scholarship for Black and Indigenous Students was created to support diversity within the occupational therapy and physiotherapy professions. The annual scholarship is available to students from Black and Indigenous communities and provides financial support for those pursuing post-secondary learning in a recognized Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy Masters program in Canada. The bursary offers a $5,000 scholarship and a post-graduation mentorship opportunity. Applications are accepted year-round, with decisions made each November and notifications sent in February. As part of the scholarship obligation, successful completion of the program is anticipated, and recipients are asked to write a short reflection at the close of their academic year noting how the award has impacted their rehabilitation student journey.
