About This Opportunity

The North Dakota Space Grant Consortium established the prestigious Lillian Goettler Space Grant Award for students at North Dakota State University. This $2,500 scholarship honors the ideals of scholarship as exemplified by Dr. Lillian Goettler, a former faculty member in Mechanical Engineering at NDSU who earned her Ph.D. in 1974 and was a founding member of Expanding Your Horizons. Applicants will ideally be involved in a research project of NASA relevance and must demonstrate high levels of service to the STEM community through various engagements, programming, and/or research.
