About This Opportunity
The Linda Dyer Award at AVC is granted to returning student(s) at the Atlantic Veterinary College intending to specialize in the care of domestic animals who can demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to students who generally reside in New Brunswick or the United States. The award honors Linda Dyer, who lived a full life as a teacher, entrepreneur, business owner, political analyst, Rotarian, and loyal friend with a lifelong respect and love for animals. In memory of Linda herself and her beloved pet dogs (Jake, Tammy, Radar, Phil, Ed and Oliver), her wish is to support and encourage students in their study of veterinary science.
