Linda M Safar Memorial Scholarship

The Linda M Safar Memorial Scholarship honors the legacy of Linda M. Safar, a lawyer, teacher, and part-time judge who dedicated her life to social justice and treating all people with dignity and respect. This scholarship is awarded to a Wenatchee High School graduating senior who demonstrates empathy, integrity, respect for students and teachers, and is driven by a moral responsibility to do good for others. The scholarship supports students pursuing further education at a 2-year or 4-year college or university in the United States, regardless of their academic interest or chosen career field. Award decisions are primarily based on the student's interest and motivation in social justice, along with demonstrated financial need and a minimum 2.5 GPA.
