Linda Witt Komes Language For Literacy Scholarship

The Linda Witt Komes Language For Literacy Scholarship supports graduate students at Eastern Illinois University pursuing studies in Communication Disorders and Science with a focus on language and literacy. This scholarship is awarded to students whose educational focus centers on the study of language and literacy development and the underlying speech/language processes of literacy learning, policy and practices for language and literacy learning, and addressing language and literacy challenges in educational settings. Recipients must maintain a GPA of at least 3.00 and must be degree-seeking graduate students in good standing. The scholarship is renewable provided recipients continue to meet the eligibility criteria. The award is announced in the Spring semester and disbursed in the Fall semester.
