This grant program aims to strengthen the diversity of services for people who need palliative treatment and care. This will be achieved through the establishment and operation of palliative care units run by voluntary and non-profit organizations following the hospice philosophy. The program specifically highlights children, young people, and their families as priority beneficiaries. The funding supports organizations providing palliative care services based on hospice principles, with a focus on expanding access to quality end-of-life care in Norway.
