About this opportunity
The RCOG, with the kind and generous support of the Lindsay Stewart Foundation, is pleased to offer up to £500 of funding to support two medical students' electives in obstetrics and gynaecology. This award helps support medical students who wish to gain valuable clinical experience in the specialty. It provides an opportunity for medical students to develop their clinical skills and gain insights into a career in the specialty. Mr. Lindsay Stewart, OBE, FRCS Ed (Hon), FRCOG (Hon) maintained a life-long association with the RCOG. He was an advocate for continuous quality improvement in healthcare services, he funded the establishment of Lindsay Stewart R&D Centre to promote quality improvement tools aimed at advancing standards of care in women's health. Winners are required to submit a short report within six months of completing their elective. The report should describe their experiences, key learnings, and how the placement has influenced their future career aspirations.
