About this opportunity
The RCOG, with the kind and generous support of the Lindsay Stewart Foundation, is pleased to offer the Lindsay Stewart Travelling Fellowship. This award provides funding of up to £2,000 to support RCOG Fellows and Members in the United Kingdom who wish to develop technical skills and knowledge through an overseas placement. The fellowship aims to facilitate the development of new technical skills and knowledge among RCOG Fellows and Members by supporting overseas placements. Mr Lindsay Stewart, OBE, FRCS Ed (Hon), FRCOG (Hon) maintained a life-long association with the RCOG. He was an advocate for continuous quality improvement in healthcare services, he funded the establishment of Lindsay Stewart R&D Centre to promote quality improvement tools aimed at advancing standards of care in women's health. The award holder is required to submit a report within twelve months of receipt of the award. The report should describe their experiences and how newly acquired skills are being embedded in their clinical practice.
