About This Opportunity

This scholarship has been established by the School of Linguistics and Applied Language Studies at Te Herenga Waka-Victoria University of Wellington. The purpose of this scholarship is to assist students to undertake the degree of BA (Honours) or Master of Linguistics at Te Herenga Waka-Victoria University of Wellington. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic merit and provides tuition fees up to a maximum of $5,000 for one year. The minimum level of academic achievement expected of successful applicants is a grade average of at least A- in 40 points at 300 level in the subject to be pursued at postgraduate level. Note that the Master of Linguistics is not currently open to new students, so this round the scholarship is only available to BA(Honours) in Linguistics students.
