Liu and Yang Family Award for Part-Time Students in Arts

The Liu and Yang Family Award for Part-Time Students in Arts is awarded to a part-time student registered in an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Alberta. The award recognizes part-time students who maintain strong academic performance while balancing their studies with other commitments. Eligible students must be registered with 3 to 6 units of course weight in each of the Fall and Winter terms and have previously completed a minimum of 60 units of course weight. Selection is based on academic standing, with recipients required to maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0. This endowed award was established by Sam Yang to support undergraduate students pursuing their education on a part-time basis in the Faculty of Arts.
