About this opportunity

The Liversidge Scholarships provide financial support for commencing undergraduate students in the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney who demonstrate outstanding talent and proficiency in chemistry. Established in 1928 by a bequest from Emeritus Professor Archibald Liversidge who occupied the Chair of Chemistry from 1874 to 1907, the scholarship supports the highest achieving candidates in HSC chemistry. The scholarship is valued at $5,000 and is awarded to top achievers in science in the NSW Higher School Certificate who are pursuing an undergraduate degree at the Faculty of Science. Recipients must have completed both HSC Chemistry and Physics and achieved a minimum ATAR of 95 or equivalent. The scholarship is tenable for one year only and is paid in two equal installments after the census date of each semester. No application is required as the scholarship is awarded automatically based on HSC results and University enrolments, with recipients informed by email.
