Livingston C. Lord Scholarship

The Livingston C. Lord Scholarship is awarded to outstanding junior students at Eastern Illinois University who are pursuing degrees in Elementary or Secondary Education. This scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate promise of outstanding contribution and success in their chosen educational fields. Recipients must be juniors who have completed at least 30 credit hours at EIU with a minimum of 24 hours remaining at the beginning of the Fall semester when the award is announced. The scholarship requires a high level of academic achievement with a minimum GPA of 3.6 or higher. Financial need is considered only when all other criteria are deemed equal among applicants. The award is announced in the spring semester and disbursed in the fall semester.
