Liz Atkinson Memorial Scholarship

The Liz Atkinson Memorial Scholarship is awarded to full-time students enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts English Program at Red Deer Polytechnic. This scholarship recognizes academic achievement and provides financial support to students who demonstrate financial need. Recipients must be in their first or second year of the program and continuing their studies in the subsequent year. The scholarship is funded through the Liz Atkinson Endowment and provides $1,500 to one recipient annually. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application, making it accessible to all eligible students without requiring a separate application process.
