Lønnstilskudd for masterutdanning i avansert klinisk allmennsykepleie

This is a salary grant program offered by the Norwegian Directorate of Health (Helsedirektoratet) to support municipalities in building competence through advanced clinical general nursing master's education. The purpose of the program is to stimulate municipalities to further educate nurses in advanced clinical general nursing to meet the needs of municipal health and care services. The grant is calculated based on a rate per credit point planned to be completed in the calendar year. For 2025, the rate is 3,800 Norwegian kroner per credit point. For example, an employee planning to complete 30 credit points in 2025 would receive a grant of 114,000 kroner. Employers apply on behalf of their employees, and students cannot apply directly to the Directorate. The program aims to strengthen the workforce capacity in Norwegian municipalities by supporting nurses pursuing advanced clinical training that addresses local healthcare needs.
