About this opportunity

The University of Sydney Business School Local Industry Placement Program Scholarship supports high-achieving students enrolled in a Local Industry Placement Program who experience financial hardship. Established in 2016, this scholarship is funded by the University of Sydney Business School to enrich the student experience and promote the profile of the Industry Placement Program. Applicants must be enrolled in a coursework degree at the University of Sydney Business School and currently enrolled in BWIL2100 or BWIL6100 (Local Industry Placement Program). Undergraduate students must have completed a minimum of 48 credit points, while postgraduate coursework students need 24 credit points minimum. A Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70 is required, though students demonstrating financial hardship may qualify with a WAM of 60. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, approval to undertake the Local Industry Placement Program, leadership capabilities, and/or demonstrated financial hardship. Recipients may be required to participate in marketing and promotion of the Placement Program and represent the University of Sydney Business School at associated events.
