Loeliger 4th Year International 4-Week Elective Scholarship

The Loeliger 4th Year International Elective Scholarship is inspired by the passion and career of Dr. Scott Loeliger, a Family Physician dedicated to bettering health equity, multicultural, and underserved care. This scholarship provides financial support to 4th year medical students participating in international global health electives. The award of $2,975 goes toward the program fee of a CFHI place-based program in select international locations for at least 4 weeks. The scholarship is designed to support medical students seeking to gain international clinical experience while developing cultural competence and understanding of global health challenges in resource-limited settings. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis with awards announced three times per year in November, March, and June.
