Lois and Art Rein Bursaries in Education - Aboriginal Students

The Lois and Art Rein Bursaries in Education - Aboriginal Students provides financial assistance to students of Canadian Aboriginal descent entering their first year of undergraduate study in the College of Education at the University of Saskatchewan. Established by donors Lois Rein (B.Ed. 1965) and Art Rein (B.A. 1950, B.Ed. 1950), the bursary supports Indigenous students pursuing education degrees. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and maintain a minimum average of 70%. This bursary recognizes the importance of supporting Indigenous students in their educational journey and helps remove financial barriers to accessing higher education in the teaching profession. Recipients are selected based on financial need as the primary criterion. The award amount varies and one bursary is offered annually.
