Lois Christine Shoup Memorial Award

The Lois Christine Shoup Memorial Award is a scholarship offered by Red Deer Polytechnic to support students in the visual arts. This award recognizes first-year students who have demonstrated excellence in studio performance during their studies in either the Bachelor of Visual Arts or Visual Art Diploma program. The scholarship is designed to encourage continued academic pursuit in the visual arts field by providing financial support to full-time students who are progressing to their subsequent year of study at Red Deer Polytechnic. The award is funded through the Lois Christine Shoup Memorial Fund and provides $800 to one recipient annually. Students are automatically considered for this award upon completion of the General Application through the Red Deer Polytechnic scholarship portal.
