Lois Field Scholarship in Music Education

The Lois Field Scholarship in Music Education is awarded to a student with superior academic achievement enrolled in the joint Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education in Music Education program at the University of Alberta. The scholarship selection is based on multiple criteria including academic standing, demonstrated performance abilities, conducting skills, ability to play and instruct on various instruments, and aptitude for teaching. This endowed scholarship was established by Mrs. Lois Field to support outstanding students pursuing careers in music education.
