Lois Hole Humanities and Social Sciences Scholarship

The Lois Hole Humanities and Social Sciences Scholarship is awarded to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons within the meaning of subsection 95(2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada) who are Alberta residents with satisfactory academic standing. Applicants must be enrolled in the second or subsequent year of a Bachelor of Arts degree in the humanities or social sciences at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on academic standing and demonstrated leadership, community engagement, volunteerism, and/or involvement in extracurricular activities. This scholarship recognizes students who excel both academically and in their contributions to their communities.
