About this opportunity
LOK-stöd (statligt lokalt aktivitetsstöd) is a Swedish state grant program designed to support local sports club activities for children and youth aged 6-25 years, with no upper age limit for participants with disabilities. The support is provided through Riksidrottsförbundet (Swedish Sports Confederation) to sports clubs that are affiliated with specialized sports federations and conduct activities for young participants. The grant is divided into two components: leader support (ledarstöd) providing 20 SEK per leader-led group activity with at least three participants and one leader present, plus an additional 5 SEK if two or more leaders are present; and participant support (deltagarstöd) providing up to 6.30 SEK per participant depending on age group and number of weekly activities. For participants aged 6-9 years, support is given for up to three activities per sport and calendar week, while participants aged 10-25 years can receive support for up to five activities per sport and calendar week. The support aims to strengthen association-driven children's and youth sports by providing direct financial assistance based on documented, digitally registered attendance at activities.
