Lokal fritidskasse i Drammen kommune

The Local Leisure Fund in Drammen Municipality aims to facilitate opportunities for all children and young people to participate in organized leisure activities regardless of economic background. The program helps cover costs associated with participation in organized leisure activities for children and young people aged 0-19 years who are at risk of social exclusion. The funding is provided through a three-year grant from Bufdir (Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs) to Drammen municipality, with 2025 being the final year. The program covers participation fees for cultural and sports associations, tournament fees, necessary equipment and clothing, travel costs, and camps organized by clubs. Applications are processed on a rolling basis as long as funds are available. The maximum support is 5,000 Norwegian kroner per child per year for one organized leisure activity.
