KOROs Lokalsamfunnsordning (LOK) aims to stimulate the production of art projects in public spaces and contribute to professional development in the field locally, regionally, and nationally. LOK supports projects with high artistic and professional ambitions that build competence and new knowledge, and have national and international transfer value. The program supports all types of artistic expression, with particular focus on artistic contributions that help develop public discourse and increase the diversity of artistic expressions and productions in public spaces. LOK also supports projects that connect different fields and disciplines, including art projects linked to urban and place development processes. The funding scheme provides grants for both art projects and projects focused on knowledge and competence development initiatives within the field of art in public spaces.
