London Scholarship

This scholarship was established through generous donations from Alumni and friends who attended festive events in London during the University's 600th Anniversary Celebrations, in order to support students from the Greater London area to attend the University of St Andrews. The scholarship forms part of the Wardlaw Scholarship scheme, established in 2004 to provide financial assistance to academically gifted students who would otherwise struggle with the cost of studying at the University of St Andrews. The award provides £4,400 per year paid as maintenance, which can be used towards University accommodation fees. Maintenance is paid in ten monthly instalments directly to the student's bank account from September to May, with a double payment in February. The scholarship is paid annually for the duration of the student's undergraduate programme and is available to students from the Greater London area studying at the University of St Andrews.
