Lone Parent Grant

The Lone Parent Grant is an income-assessed grant available to eligible students in Scotland who are single parents with dependent children. This grant is provided by the Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS) to support lone parent students pursuing undergraduate studies. The grant can provide up to £1,305 per year to help with living costs while studying. Applicants must be single, widowed, divorced, separated, or have a dissolved civil partnership, and have at least one dependent child living with them the majority of the time. The amount received depends on the applicant's income while studying. This funding is available to full-time undergraduate students studying on campus across a wide range of subject areas at Robert Gordon University. Nursing and Midwifery students are not eligible to apply for this grant.
