Lone Star Scholarship

The Lone Star Scholarship is a $2,000 award designed to reward an ambitious student who has performed at a superior rate both academically and holistically. An ideal candidate for this scholarship is a student who shines in their academics, community service or society involvement. The scholarship is offered by Honor Society, a national membership organization dedicated to supporting academic, professional, and personal growth. To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be based in Texas. The scholarship has rolling monthly application deadlines, with recipients announced within 3 weeks of the deadline. Students applying earlier will have a greater chance of winning. The selection is based on academic achievement (GPA, honors and awards) and holistic applicant factors (leadership positions, community service, etc).
