Lorene Kennedy Graduate Student "Writing-Up" Award

One or more awards of a minimum of $1,000 each will be given to graduate students in the School of Environmental Studies who are in the writing stage of their thesis (for Master's students: year 2 or above; for PhD students: year 3 or above). Preference will be given to students who are making good progress towards fulfilling their degree requirements and who demonstrate financial need. Approval of the recipient(s) will be made by the Faculty of Graduate Studies Graduate Awards Committee upon the recommendation of the School of Environmental Studies. The award supports graduate students who have reached the writing stage of their thesis work and need financial support to complete their degree. Normally, the minimum requirement for consideration is an A- average. Students must be full-time graduate students unless otherwise noted.
