About this opportunity
The Lorenzo Henderson Scholarship supports students majoring or minoring in African & African Diaspora Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. This need-based scholarship provides financial assistance to eligible students who maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. The scholarship is awarded annually with a value of $1,000. Applications are typically reviewed in early spring, and awards given in spring are designated for the following academic year. Students graduating in the same spring or summer they apply are not eligible to receive this award. This scholarship is offered through the UWM Foundation and administered by the College of Letters & Science.
