Louise J. Kordus Memorial Scholarship

The Louise J. Kordus Memorial Scholarship provides academic merit scholarships to students majoring in Journalism, Advertising, and Media Studies (JAMS) at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The scholarship is specifically for students in the journalism or media studies track within the JAMS program. Students are automatically considered for this award when they complete both the Panther Scholarship Portal General Application and the College of Letters & Science Scholarships and Awards Application, typically during the spring evaluation period each year. Awards are given in spring for the following academic year, and the scholarship amount varies up to $5,000. Second degree students and those graduating in the same spring or summer when awards are given are not eligible for this opportunity.
