Louise McKinney Post-secondary Scholarship

Established in honour of Louise McKinney, the Louise McKinney Post-secondary Scholarship recognizes and rewards students for their academic achievements and encourages them to continue in their undergraduate or professional program of study. Up to 1,450 scholarships are awarded annually of $2,500 each. Selection is based on academic standing, and there are a limited number of scholarships available to each school with application deadlines varying by school. Students studying in-province are nominated by the Student Awards Offices at eligible Alberta public post-secondary schools. Applicants must be enrolled full-time in the second or subsequent year of an undergraduate or professional program at an eligible publicly funded post-secondary institution in Alberta.
