Louise McKinney Post-secondary Scholarship - Study Outside Alberta

The Louise McKinney Post-secondary Scholarship was established in honour of Louise McKinney to recognize and reward students for their academic achievements and encourage them to continue in their undergraduate program of study. This scholarship is funded through the Alberta Heritage Scholarship Fund and supports Alberta residents who are studying full-time at post-secondary institutions located outside of Alberta in programs that are not offered within Alberta. Recipients must be in the second or subsequent year of their undergraduate or professional program and must rank in the top two percent of their program enrollment from the previous year of study. The scholarship aims to ensure that exceptional Alberta students can pursue specialized educational programs not available in the province while maintaining their connection to Alberta.
