Lovewell Blake Fund

The Lovewell Blake Fund provides grants of up to £2,000 to support small, community-based organisations in Suffolk where small grants can make a real difference. Around £8,000 is currently available through this funding round. The fund prioritizes small community groups with an annual income of less than £50,000 and activities with a high degree of volunteer involvement. The fund can support the full cost of small capital items such as sports equipment. However, it cannot support larger organisations with an annual income over £50,000, ongoing service delivery or operational costs, staff costs, or larger capital projects such as play equipment or building work. The fund is administered by Suffolk Community Foundation, which manages 136 grant making funds and awarded £3.8 million in funding last year.
