Lärare skriver

Lärare skriver is a writing course scholarship for teachers who want to be heard and seen in the educational debate and change the image of the teaching profession. The scholarship covers a five-day summer writing course including course fees, travel, meals, and accommodation. The course is held at Biskops Arnö folk high school and is led by an experienced writing instructor. Participants work on developing and transforming their experiences from the school world into different types of texts such as debate articles, columns, or essays. The course includes discussions on narrative techniques, style and tone, and delimitation, as well as reading and analyzing others' texts. The program aims to give teachers the tools to have a natural voice in public conversation, participate in debate, and contribute to a more nuanced picture of the teaching profession. Ultimately, it's about strengthening the teaching profession and ensuring that teachers control the description of the school's important societal role.
