Lärarnas sommarforum

Lärarnas sommarforum is a three-day professional development and wellness retreat for teachers and preschool teachers in Sweden. The program takes place in a beautiful archipelago setting at Djurönäset Conference & Hotel on Värmdö in the Stockholm archipelago. Participants gather with approximately one hundred colleagues from across Sweden for three days filled with energy, inspiration, and well-deserved recovery. The foundation covers the entire stay including meals, accommodation, lectures, entertainment, spa, activities, and transportation between Stockholm Central and Djurönäset. The program combines recreation with reflection, discussions, and lectures on professionally relevant topics including reading, educational history, the school's democratic mission, and teaching development with evidence-based experience. Between sessions, participants can choose activities such as yoga, reading, kayaking, and spa treatments, or simply enjoy the beautiful archipelago environment while socializing with teaching colleagues.
