About this opportunity
LSE offers awards which can cover full tuition fees and living costs for those holding an offer of admission to an LSE undergraduate programme, who meet the eligibility criteria. This scholarship is specifically designed to support students from vulnerable immigration statuses, including asylum seekers, children of asylum seekers, unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, those granted refugee status or humanitarian protection without settled status, and those with limited leave to remain or temporary status in the UK. Priority is given to those unable to access funding from Student Finance England or its national equivalents. Applications are also encouraged from Palestinian students who were resident in Gaza or the West Bank prior to commencing their studies at LSE or have been otherwise affected by the war and humanitarian crisis, with £250,000 ring-fenced for qualifying Access to Education applicants. Full and partial awards are made to cover tuition fees at either Home or Overseas rate and living costs for the entire length of the undergraduate programme, with each case assessed on individual need.
