LSE Excellence Scholarship

LSE Excellence Scholarships are prestigious awards for exceptional Postgraduate Taught students joining LSE in 2026. These scholarships recognise applicants who demonstrate outstanding academic ability and strong potential to thrive in their chosen programme. The scholarship provides financial support to students pursuing postgraduate taught degrees at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Awardees are identified based on their application for admission, with no separate financial support application required. Awards are made on a rolling basis during the application cycle until all awards are allocated. The scholarship is available to students in select departments including Accounting, Anthropology, Gender Studies, Geography and Environment, Health Policy, International Development, International History, LSE Law School, Mathematics, Media and Communications, School of Public Policy, Sociology, and Statistics. For two-year programmes, the scholarship value is distributed equally across both years.
